FALL CHINOOK ARE
HERE! The fall
Chinook and Coho
have arrived. The
big fish today was
right at 30lbs! The
Salmon fishing on
the Umpqua and
nearby rivers will
good through
October. I still
have a few days open
throughout the end
of Aug-Oct. |

The smallmouth
fishing continues to
be excellent. There
was an
incredible top water
bite today with the
big fish measuring
just over
18 inches! The
average day lately
has been well over
100 fish per
boat. The fishing
should remain
excellent through
August. |

Report: The
Smallmouth Bass
fishing on the
Umpqua is heating
up. The water
temp is just right
and the fish are
biting. The big fish
yesterday was
just under 18
inches. I still have
plenty of room in
July and August
for Smallies. |

Date: 07/23/2008 Report: The
Smallmouth Bass fishing has
finally turned on. The water is
down to a semi normal level and
the water temp is around 70. The
last couple trips I ran we
caught over 100 fish per boat.
The rest of July and all of
August will be excellent! |

Elk River |
Date: 11/6/2007 Report: The Elk
and Sixes rivers are currently
low, but rain is expected late
this week. It should fish
sometime next week with the rain
on the horizon. I still have a
few days for this fishery. |

Date: 10/011/2007 Report: The
Salmon fishing has been good as
of late. I still have room in
the latter part of Oct and a few
days in Nov. Looking forward to
a good season on the Elk/Sixes
due to a high jack count last
year. |

smallmouth fishing on the Umpqua
has been great. Average days are
about 100 fish per boat. The
Salmon fishery will begin around
August 1st. I still have plenty
of openings for both. |

smallmouth bass fishing has been
excellent. Average days are
about 150 fish per boat. Also,
the bay fishing for salmon has
started. The Rogue is beginning
to produce good days and the
Umpqua and Coos rivers are soon
to follow. I still have a few
dates for fall salmon bay trips
left open! |

Date: 07/08/2006 Report: The
smallmouth bass fishing has been
excellent. The average days
catch is well over 100 fish per
boat. The fall salmon season is
about 3 weeks away. Now's the
time to get dates for Aug-Oct. |

Date: 04/29/2006 Report: The
spring Chinook run is in full
swing. I still have about ten
good dates left. The big fishing
of the week was a touch under 35
pounds! Fishing will only get
better throughout the month. |

Date: 1/31/2006 Report: The
fishing has been hit and miss.
Last week was fantastic, the
rain quit and the fishing was
great. Last weekend the river
blew back out after another
heavy rain system. When the
river gets green again the
fishing will be excellent. There
are fish all through the system. |

Date: 12/15/2005 Report: The
Steelhead are starting to show
up in the Umpqua. I caught a 17
lb fish last week. The river is
still a touch high but should
fish excellent by this weekend.
I still have some room in
January and early February. |

Sixes River |
Date: 11/26/2005 Report: The elk
and sixes are in full swing. I
fished the sixes the last couple
of weeks and limited out every
trip. The fish were in great
shape and river will fish good
through this week. These rivers
will stay good through the
middle of December. |
